Agricultural tourism provides a way to blend farming enterprises
and attract community residents to learn about farming, enjoy nature,
and build family relationships. In addition it also provides another
way for a farm enterprise to gather income. The popularity of agritourism
has increased in recent years. A major concern with ag retail and
agritainment is with the addition of visitors on the farm there is
an increased inherent risk of liability and potential safety issues.
It is the goal of this document to minimize risk associated with
your operation. The following is a list of supportive practices
that could potentially be implemented to improve safety in your operation.
